How to Play The Piano

Just another WordPress.com weblog

Hello world!

When I was 6 years old I started piano lessons.  I took lessons for 16 years and even though I hated all of the practicing, I am very glad my mother made me sit there and play for an hour everyday.  I had many recitals, and can still play Yellow Bird, which was my favorite recital piece so long ago.  I played many duets with my friends and what great memories I have to look back on.

One time my church convinced me that I could play the organ.  That was very scarey because I had never played the organ before.  It was not just like playing the piano. An organ has many pedals and buttons,  but we can all master things in life if we just put our mind to it  Being able to play the piano can be very theraputic.  It can soothe your soul when you need it to. It can brighten the day of anyone.  My grandchildren love to sit at the piano while I play and sing their favorite songs

There are alot of wonderful courses about how to play the piano.  Let me  share some fun ones I have learned about. If you have ever wanted to learn to play the piano take the time.  It is not hard and it is very rewarding.
